About Us
The Special Event Company (TSEC) is a strategic event and meeting management company founded in 1986 in London. We've been operating in the US since 1999. Five years ago we moved our headquarters to the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina to be in proximity to several of our key distinguished clients.
TSEC has won or been nominated for over 30 international awards, including 10 awards for events in the RTP region and four awards won in 2009. We are a one-stop shop for event management, meeting services, production, lighting, catering, décor and marketing through our group of companies.
Our focus is to earn the clients' trust through industry knowledge, understanding their business challenges and celebrating their successes with a commitment to partnerships. Our team becomes an extension of the client's in-house team. We are then able to be highly flexible in fulfilling changing requirements throughout the planning and delivery process.
Strategic planning, creative solutions, comprehensive site investigations, flawless administration, careful budget management and seamless execution are some of the methods we employ to produce international award winning events and programs.

Sally Webb founded The Special Event Company in 1986 from a background in sports public relations and sponsorship. Over the past two decades, she has produced events in over 20 countries throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
Sally is former President of the U.K. Chapter of ISES, and Regional Vice President for the Euro-Africa Region. She is also past chair of the International Past Leaders Council and an advisory board member for Special Event Magazine and The Special Event Show. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the U.K. Chapter of ISES (International Special Event Society) in 2008.
She is a regular lecturer in Event Management around the world, appearing at various conferences and universities. Since January 2006 she has held a position as an Executive in Residence at Temple University in Philadelphia.
